What
we do

AlertOC is an emergency notification system that keeps Orange County residents and businesses informed of immediate life-threatening events, including earthquakes, wildfires, landslides, pandemic, flooding, terrorism gas or chemical leaks, and more.

By registering with AlertOC, time-sensitive voice messages from the County or City in which you live or work may be sent to your home, cell or business phone.

Also, text messages may be sent to cell phones, e-mail accounts or text telephone devices (TTYs or TDDs) for people with hearing or speech disabilities.

AlertOC is operated by the County of Orange in collaboration with local cities.
